Filmmuseum is Austria's international film center and a treasure trove of film history 🎬. It showcases an impressive historical collection of cinema – films, photos and film literature from the beginnings to the present.
The program offers daily screenings, monthly retrospectives and cyclical series (e.g., 'What is Film') – often in 35mm/16mm original format, sometimes digital; films run mostly in their original version with subtitles.
Specifically for schools and young cinema enthusiasts there are workshops for ages 5–18: film screenings with analysis, discussions and conversations with filmmakers 🎞️.
Suitable for age groups: 2–6 years, 6–10 years, 10–12 years, 12+.
