Flakturm - climbing facility

The Flakturm climbing facility is located at the House of the Sea in the Esterhazy Park and offers a selection of excellent sport climbing routes. Outdoor climbing in the heart of Vienna!

The main wall, which can reach up to 30 meters in height, is not only for advanced climbers. Beginners also have the opportunity to climb to dizzying heights, as it can be climbed either top rope or lead climbing.

With 12 belay chains and over 20 route variants, from 4th to 9th grade of difficulty, lead up to the roof of the Flakturm.

If you want to lead climb, please bring your own equipment like rope and quickdraws because a limited number of equipment is available for rent. A 60m rope and 17 quickdraws are required for the long routes. Come and challenge yourself at the Flakturm climbing facility!
