Harzberg Kangaroo Farm: Caring for Unique Macropodids
Description
Visit the Harzberg Kangaroo Farm, a special breeding sanctuary for kangaroos. Donations support the care and maintenance of these fascinating marsupials.
In an 800m2 outdoor enclosure and adjacent forest, nine red-naped kangaroos, including a rare white albino, thrive. Nearby, 13 Parma kangaroos, one of the world's smallest kangaroo species, are housed to help protect them from extinction.
Inside, meet FELIX, a hand-raised Parma kangaroo, and witness his charming moments.
Bennett's wallabies, small and cold-resistant kangaroos originally from Tasmania, enjoy life here.
While you can't touch them, you can observe and feed them peanuts (for a donation) from a safe distance. Remember, ONLY red-naped kangaroos eat peanuts. Your visit helps support these remarkable animals.
