Karlskirche (Karl's Church)

The magnificent Karlskirche is one of the most beautiful Baroque buildings in Vienna. With its large green dome, it is one of the city’s best-known landmarks. ✨

Inside, the colorful frescoes by Johann Michael Rottmayr, the Museo Borromeo with reliquaries, and the panoramic lift to the 32.5-meter-high platform impress visitors – from there you can admire the frescoes and the nave up close. 👀🎨

Classical concerts regularly take place (Mozart, Vivaldi, Advent Gospel) – tickets in advance. Older children and teenagers benefit from the concert program; the little ones enjoy the playgrounds at Karlsplatz and the Christmas market in winter. 🎻🎄
