Kooka-burra guitarra offers guitar lessons for children from 6 years old and music and dance playgroups as well as musical early education for children from 1 to 6 years old 🎸🎵.
The lessons are playful and imaginative, weaving classical guitar technique with elementary music making and are tailored to each child. Rhythmical spoken verses, performances, playing along, playing by ear, singing and body percussion are used 👏.
The techniques include Apoyando technique (on open strings), Tirando technique, chords and strumming techniques to accompany songs. The introduction of notes occurs progressively: first open strings, then fretted notes, and finally reading notes.
For 0–2 years: musical early education for the youngest.
For 2–6 years: music and dance playgroups, with and without parents.
For 6–10 years: Guitarra – playful guitar lessons from age 6.
For 10–12 years: advanced guitar work
