Park Altes AKH

Park Altes AKH is a small, popular inner-courtyard playground in the heart of Vienna – perfect for little ones to discover. Here there is a sand and mud play area, a slide, a sandpit, a climbing structure and several swings (nest, swing cars, swing animals) 🎈

The unique location in the relaxed inner courtyard of the university campus is what makes it appealing. On hot days the adjacent summer gardens invite visitors to linger. Especially popular with families is the Universitätsbräu, which borders the playground directly; opposite lies the Stiegl-Ambulanz with a diaper-changing station. In summer the Salettl Summer Lounge with beach garden is a hit; in winter the inner courtyard becomes the Alten AKH Christmas Market 🎄

Suitable for children aged 0–2, 2–6, 6–10, 10–12 and from 12 years. The park covers about 14,500 m² and offers plenty of space to romp ☀️
