Discover Empress Elisabeth's world at the Sisi Museum in the Hofburg – an intimate, poetic journey. 👑
Since 2004 the museum has occupied the Imperial Apartments and displays around 300 personal objects that once belonged to Elisabeth – parasols, fans, gloves, items of clothing, beauty preparations, a milk glass with travelling case, a travelling medicine chest, and her original death certificate.
Exhibits were created by set designer Prof. Rolf Langenfass and are inspired by the monarch's poetry. Guided tours and audioguides are available to enrich the visit. Recommended for children aged 6–10, 10–12 and 12+.
