Description

Schönbrunn Zoo is the oldest zoo in the world. It was founded in 1752 by Emperor Franz I Stephan of Lorraine, the husband of Maria Theresa, and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Schönbrunn. Six times in a row.

With many animal species, visitors have the opportunity to experience live feeding and learn a lot of exciting things about the animals. Many interesting details about the animals and the zoo are also told during numerous guided tours. The offer ranges from backstage to themed tours to night tours. The various gastronomic establishments in the Tiergarten spoil visitors with a wide range of offers: from small snacks to menus. The trip on the panorama train also makes a visit to Schönbrunn Zoo a special experience.
