The Vienna Water School is a unique eco-pedagogical facility of the Vienna Water Authority (MA 31) that introduces school classes to the topic of water in a playful and interactive way. 💧
The offering is aimed at school classes (approximately 8–15 years old) and is structured in two modules: Module 1 'Water Around the World' and Module 2 'Vienna Water Supply and Wastewater Disposal'. Typically a water workshop lasts from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The workshops are free as part of the EULE Eco-Education project in Vienna. 🎒
Experiments, small-group work, and a final quiz.
Teaching materials, videos, and the children's book/film 'Tim & Trixi'.
Visit to the historic water tower in Favoriten (open to school classes).
Located in the gently repurposed former water main power plant Wienerberg.
In the summer season: a free water playground nearby.
