Help Science in Austria!

You can join 7 different projects to help scientists. You can collect data, take photos, or use apps. For example, you can count butterflies, find mushrooms, or record forest sounds. The best participants will win prizes!

Important Details

• What: Science for everyone (Citizen Science).

• When:

  • Join in: From April 1 to July 31, 2026.

  • Awards Ceremony: November 17, 2026.

• Where:

  • Projects: All over Austria (online or outdoors).

  • Final Event: TU Wien, Karlsplatz 13, 1040 Vienna. This is where the winners will be celebrated.

• Who can join:

  • School classes and youth groups.

  • Families.

  • Individuals (adults).

• Prizes:

  • Money for schools (up to €1,000).

  • Cool items/gifts for families and individuals.

Good to Know

It is free to sign up and participate. In most cases, you only need a smartphone or a computer.
